First impressions on this course's assignments

I'm looking forward to the flexibility and creativity of this course. I especially appreciate all of the extra credit opportunities and the ability to use those to catch up on missed work and finish the class early. I'm sure things will get crazy toward the end of the semester with graduation looming, so I'll push myself to do those extra credit opportunities early. I think the Tech Tips, Wikipedia Trails and Famous Last Words assignments look fun.

After reading through the storybooks earlier in the week, I'm looking forward to doing some creative writing. I haven't done any creative writing since ... middle school, probably. It's also not something I get an opportunity to do in my journalism courses, so I think this will be a fun break from the type of writing I'm used to.
